My kids love these vits! August 30, 2009

I had to ditch the animal parade when the FDA report on lead in kids and women's vits came out. I took the FDA list and went to Whole Foods to find something with LESS lead. I ended up with the Solaray. My kids love them. I like them too, and took them while I was trying to find a new vite for myself. I just think they are expensive.

My kids really like these vitamins! I take them sometimes as well. I like them because they are quality vitamins without anything artificial, and we like the way they taste.

My son, who is anemic, won't take iron supplements anymore. The taste is just terrible. He does, however, love cherry, so when I found these vitamins I was very excited and hopeful. Within a second after putting it in his mouth, he gagged. I thought he was playing around, so I popped one in my mouth, and immediately spit it out. The taste of these chewables is just horrendous. There's a very strong aftertaste, which I'm assuming comes from the higher amount of iron. It's so unpleasant, however, that it can't be overcome and therefore renders this purchase wasted for me.
